Gaften is the desert and mountain continent containing Trenoa, Huqait, Syran and the southern and eastern states shown on the map. Syran’s invasion of Huqait and the southern attack on Trenoa establish the early theater. The aid route into Huqait connects diplomatic commitment with dangerous daily carrying work.
Strategy & the wider war
The Fifth Army’s later arrival adds strength to an existing Allied effort. Dask’s Desert Rats cooperate with Trenoan formations, while Huqaiti forces contribute knowledge of mountain approaches. The corrected map places Vendoyaq, Ruuyag, Gandait and Ganistan in the Axis, while Jaryaq is neutral. Previous proposals contradicting those alignments have been removed from the active chronology. Military routes cannot assume unrestricted passage through neutral Jaryaq.
