Syran formally joins the Hukular-led Axis in February 1206. It invades Huqait in November 1208 and later participates in the attack on Trenoa through Fendistan. A restricted presidency and the price of bad news
The proposed Defense Directorate’s control over presidential candidates makes military approval central to political survival. Reports from the front can therefore become arguments about the president’s competence or loyalty to the officer establishment. A commander requesting a pause for repair risks being accused of weakening an operation that the government has publicly promised will succeed.
The system can still concentrate resources effectively. Its difficulty is correcting a commitment after circumstances change. The detailed desert history should show negotiations among the presidency, directorate and transport authorities over water, spare parts and reserve deployment. A withdrawal becomes politically manageable when framed as preparation for a renewed operation, even if its real purpose is to preserve an exhausted force. This creates a distinctive relationship between official optimism and the practical work of commanders trying to keep their formations usable.
