Strategic objective

This proposed liberation campaign returns Athenorian institutions and formations to territory lost years earlier. Hukular seeks to delay restoration while defending other threatened fronts.

Ground & operational constraints

The front follows the mapped Hestunia–Athenor relationship. Municipal centers matter for civil restoration as much as road junctions matter for military movement.

LydessaMaren EldwickProposed operational commanderDistrict infantry regiments and railway engineers protect successive defensive lines. Exile formations retain national records while relying on Hestunian supply.
HukularMarvek DoranProposed operational commanderA central assault group with concentrated artillery, engineer columns and infantry reserves; its effectiveness depends on rail delivery and the protection of its flanks.

Fighting, tactics & logistics

Allied engineers restore transport behind limited advances. Athenorian units lead entry into selected districts, but civil officials follow only after basic security is established. Hukular rear guards remove stores and damage workshops. A staged Allied push isolates several strongpoints without treating every occupied town as an assault objective.

Civilian consequences

Returnees meet residents who endured occupation, creating disputes over requisition, collaboration allegations and property. Courts and records offices must resume before accusations become arbitrary punishment.

Outcome & wider significance

A proposed restoration of substantial Athenorian territory. The campaign contributes to Hukular's weakening without claiming that liberation resolves the social damage of occupation.
