Fighting, tactics & logistics
The Axis targets spare bridging material and trained repair crews. Garabech responds by rotating engineers and moving components in small loads. An infantry assault reaches the southern approach but loses artillery support as counterbattery fire disrupts observation. Garabech restores the perimeter after a prolonged struggle.
Civilian consequences
Repair workers' families are moved to safer districts. Civilian freight remains restricted, deepening shortages even though the military crossing never closes permanently.
Outcome & wider significance
Garabech holds Sorn. This proposed battle begins before Kandar and ends afterward; Silvia's declaration does not automatically decide a battle fought by other nations.
