Fighting, tactics & logistics
Avenrath’s confederate authorities initially allocate shipping according to regional demands. The resulting arrival schedule does not match the capacity of the receiving ports. Ships carrying essential components wait behind less urgent cargo, revealing that the coordination problem begins within the Allied system before enemy action is considered.
Olyssan and Drazet exploit those predictable concentrations. Avenrath responds by giving a joint transport authority limited power to prioritize berths and onward movement. That arrangement creates domestic friction because individual member governments lose control over some of their imports. Records of diverted cargo become politically important evidence after immediate emergencies pass.
In the final phase, escorts and port services work to a more consistent schedule. Delivery improves without making every passage safe. Repair queues and damaged inland roads remain constraints. Avenrath’s achievement is a more usable flow of supplies to its forces, not the elimination of all shipping losses or regional disagreement.
Civilian consequences
Civilian imports compete with military cargo, while port workers face danger and longer hours. Neutral trade with Valmyr remains a separate question from belligerent military service.
Outcome & wider significance
Avenrath maintains its eastern connection through administrative adaptation and protection of receiving capacity. The Axis continues to disrupt it but cannot permanently close the route.
