Fighting, tactics & logistics

Lydessan mechanics remove specialized tools while infantry holds the street approaches. Tera takes the buildings, but most immediately useful machinery is gone. The loss nevertheless reduces Lydessa's nearby repair capacity.

Rear defense is not synonymous with homeland defense. These installations may be far from Silvia while still supporting a Silvian front. Their protection reduces the need to divert maneuver divisions away from their primary tasks. Security troops therefore contribute to offensive endurance even when they are not leading the advance.

Workers evacuate with their equipment, often leaving household possessions behind.
