Fighting, tactics & logistics

Engineers repair one damaged track while rear guards hold the loading area. The train leaves with wounded and staff records; heavy equipment is abandoned. Tera takes the station after the departure.

Rear defense is not synonymous with homeland defense. These installations may be far from Silvia while still supporting a Silvian front. Their protection reduces the need to divert maneuver divisions away from their primary tasks. Security troops therefore contribute to offensive endurance even when they are not leading the advance.

Civilian consequences

Many civilians cannot board and remain for the occupation.
