DASK LEADS THE DESERT RATS

High General Arven Dask reviews deployment plans with a Trenoan liaison officer at a forward command post as Silvian columns arrive in the western desert.

The Silvian Fifth Army joins the
Allied desert effort under High
General Arven Dask. Nicknamed
the Desert Rats, the force numbers
well over 200,000 men and includes
13 infantry divisions, 12 mechanized
divisions, three armored divisions
and three logistical divisions.

A Silvian Air Force wing is attached
to support the campaign.

Dask coordinates with Trenoan
and Hugait commanders as the army
begins its deployment. The mission
is to reinforce Allied desert fronts,
restore threatened routes and
confront Syran forces. The arrival
adds substantial strength, but the
army must first establish transport,
maintenance and water distribution
across unfamiliar ground.
