Fighting, tactics & logistics
Silvian forces isolate an anchorage before landing engineers and infantry. Kelonese defenders counterattack workshops and unloading points, knowing a captured harbor is useless if its approaches remain under fire. The Republic restores limited facilities, then pauses to protect them. Later attacks exploit the resulting repair and resupply capacity.
Civilian consequences
Residents face prolonged damage to water and harbor services. Reconstruction imagery is labeled as such, and this article contains no fabricated survivor quotation.
Outcome & wider significance
